Office Bearers from amongst the members present as Alumni Association of Nabon Women’s Synod College, Shillong

The meeting was presided over by Smti.T.Malngiang, HOD Khasi Dept. At the outset, the chairperson highlighted the purpose of the meeting, which the main agenda was to elect the Office bearers from amongst the Alumni. The Chairperson then requested Smti.I.Manih, Khasi Dept, Staff member of the Alumni Committee to initiate discussion with a welcome address.

Subsequently, Smti.I.Kharshiing, Coordinator, IQAC, gave a brief summary about the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and its importance, which she dwelt upon the benefits of accreditation so as to know the college strengths, weaknesses and opportunities through an informed review process. She further stressed the necessity of having an Alumni Association which strives to promote an enduring relationship between students and their Alma Mater.
