Seminar was organised at our esteemed institution on the 20th of May 2023 on “The Role of Rev J. J. M. Nichols Roy in drafting the Sixth Schedule to the Constitution of India”.
Nabon Women’s Synod College organized a Food Festival cum Sale on the 9th September 2022. The Festival was inaugurated by Reverend P. Hynniewta, President of the Governing Body of the College. Food items were prepared ranging from the Khasi, RI Bhoi,Jaintia, Chinese dishes etc and snacks like Panipuri, alu-muri etc were also prepared . Games like tailing the donkey, fishing and beating the gong added flavours and merriment to Food Festival bonanza. It was a grand success!
Har Ghar Tiranga
To mark the 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence on the 15th of August, 2022, the College as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrated the day by hoisting the National Flag of India. Smt. F. Ryntathiang, HoD History Department hoisted the National Flag in the presence of the teaching/non-teaching and students of the College fraternity. The National Anthem was also sung with great fervour and enthusiasm. The aim of this celebration is to inculcate patriotism among the College community which will create a sense of pride and love for one’s country.
